Like the blood flowing through your veins
Following the pathways of the body
Connecting one thing to another
Each place leading to the next
Never an ending nor a beginning
A constant flow that cannot be stopped
Bringing together the world as one
One place to place, one soul to another
United as one the rivers become our blood
As warm as body temperature
As cold as our hearts
Connecting us
Yet separating us
Bringing us closer together
Yet pushing us further away
There is nothing more powerful
Then the ways of our rivers
