NBA Poem
30 teams start even
In the 82 game season
At first bad teams are believing
Until stars start achieving
One by one they’ll lose hope
As all teams face their fate
The legends will emerge
With the heroics so late
Coaches will be screaming
With their job on the line
The owner will be steaming
While the players get the sign
For some it will be the last
Yet new stars will emerge
Some shout out with joy
And some are on the verge
The weak teams make their mark
While top teams chase the title
A big play could lead to a spark
In a game so vital
The season captures it all
As they march from coast to coast
When the playoffs start
Some teams are toast
They come together united
Chasing a common theme
Being a part of a team
Who is living the ultimate dream.

A march madness poem like this one inspired me to write one about the NBA.
