You come in and out of my head
sometimes quick and fast, sometimes slow and long.
Thoughts bubble and boil all around me,
I feel my brain twirling and twisting as I wonder,
What did I do?
It could be with anyone or anything,
but you always find a way to take over my brain.
You make things more dramatic,
and problems bigger than they seem.
You cause me to pace, cry, and yell when
nothing is really wrong.

The author's comments:

I wrote "To Overthinking" after being inspired by my recent realization of calmness after therapy sessions. I have been able to relax and relieve my over thinking brain.
