Layers
Every single person in this world has layers.
One personality drifts past as you find the next.
And they just go by faster
and faster.
Like pages of an abandoned book in the wind.
But people are complicated.
And just as you have one layer figured out
it flies away.
But sometimes
the most important part is to find the center.
The pit.
The real personality.
Because sometimes people need to be freed from their layers.
These lies they show the world are just like bandages stacked on top of a victims mouth.
And they suffocate.

In my experience, people are never one-sided.
I think that if we don't try to truly understand people, or help them, they might suffocate.
I was inspired by my friend.
Who was the happiest, funniest, and weirdest person I knew.
And she tried to kill herself.
And a layer flew away.
But it was her. It was still her. And I love her just the same.
