We had about a half hour before the play started.

Granted, I probably should have stayed in my seat.

But I didn’t.

I wandered to the back of the stage.

Book in hand.

And there I saw a hundred white fairy lights illuminating the paintings of snowy trees and  dotted white hillsides on the empty, otherwise black stage.

and I sat there.

and I read my book by the faint glow of my miniature winter wonderland.

I decided to write this because everyday I see things that I don't want to forget, like a beautiful woman or a mural on a street corner. Everyone does. But no one writes it down. That's why I started to save all the things I see everyday. So I never forget.
