I remember when I first met
my most bestest friend.
You were in my 8th grade
English class.
I remember when I learned
where you are from,
what you like,
and the sports you play and watch.
I remember
English class
when we would eat takis together
And burning our mouths while wishing we could just have
A sip of water.
I remember when
We would do our work together
While having fun
Then we would eat a snack
I remember
Lunch Time
Where you wouldn’t let me touch you
And none of your friends liked me except you
