When will it stop?
You feel it can’t stop,
As if you’re immortal.
You hear the door open
Then close,
And you quiver in your seat.
You can feel every beat your heart makes,
Faster and faster as he approaches
You feel tangled in a mess
Of cruelty and danger
The best part is night,
The worst the mornings.
You know today will hurt just as much as yesterday
Or maybe you will endure more pain
With each day that comes.
Your only hope is that
Maybe one day,
You will dissolve in your sleep
And never wake again.
His passion is to hurt you,
And you wonder
“When will the pain and chaos stop?”
