A puddle (the second one)
If
I
Could drink with my eyes
I would never be thirsty
Again, I saw a puddle
And it was perfect.
From a metre Away
It was cool to the touch, the way it rippled
(When it was touched)
I never saw my reflection in it
I never bothered to
Look, I just want to enjoy it from afar.
Glass, but
Fluid, flowing
Attractive
Clear

I saw the clearest puddle I have ever seen in my life about a month ago, and I could not stop thinking about it. I was awestruck, for lack of a better word, and wanted to write about before I forgot what it looked like.
