“Peace and love, Josh,” you signed your last letter to me.
Oblivious to the fact that those were the last words I would hear from you.
As my tears hit the letter, I watched the ink smear.
Before I knew it, all the words were unrecognizable.
Somehow, the words “Peace and love, Josh” stood strong through the downpour.
I knew this was a sign from you.
Now everytime I look in the mirror, I see those words inked on my ribs.
No storm powerful enough to wash your words away anymore.
