Young & Abundant
There were times when we believed we were unstoppable.
Times like the ones when we were running free as a child,
Where nothing touched us and we felt as weightless as a feather.
Times where we believed we were on top of the world with the glee that only a child could have.
Such light in our eyes while we're young, such pure untainted faith that the world is this mysterious amazing place.
It’s only as we age we begin to fully understand the world, do we grasp that this world is not as it seems.
That there is an abundance of pain, an abundance of happiness.
That sometimes that pain can pierce your heart and leave it in shatters.
But what greater pain than to live life in ignorance.
There is joy in being a blissfully unaware child, but there is joy in being older and seeing the beauty in a world full of abundances.
