Have you ever lost someone by going through a hard breakup
Ended up losing control of your emotions ,
To the point where you start to question who you really are ,
Maybe you lost them to a little reason or maybe the feelings
Weren’t always present how they needed to be,
As to how can i move on from this when i invested so much
Into it ,
How can i love the next person how i loved before
Am i to selfish to open up a new door ?
Or possibly wait to work on on our present issues
But it’s clear as day that this will no longer resume
The hardest part of letting go is remebering all of the memories ,
All of the late night calls and texts ,
To where the first time we said i love you to
I can’t see myself without you,
How can i give that to someone else when my heart belongs to you ,
Took it away and let it run with you , while it’s still beating
Just know i’ll always be thinking of you ,
Two people who commited love crimes stole eachother’s hearts
But on the flip side mine happens to be on probation ,
A little time out is what i needed to gather myself up and push through the
Hardships of loving someone else,
I was naive to let you runaway with my heart for it no longer be returned ,
Feeling like a person who has lost their puppy and hoping for it to come back ,
My body has put up wanted posters of my missing piece ,
Who am i kidding ? there’s no reward after it so why even bother returning it
Life is all about leaving , learning ,brusing , and making mistakes
I just have to do what it takes to make sure my well being and heart is kept in a safe,
I will no longer turn my back to you ,
I will no longer remisnce about our happy times about you
Between me and you ,
It’s just a step at a time to find someone and cherish them as mine.
