Animals
Iron bars separate us from the outside
we are like caged animals,
beasts.
Time is the only comfort we have,
in between our meals.
White walls, a constant reminder that we are trapped.
Like vermin we run this rat race,
despised and feared by the outside world.
In here there is no you or I,
in here there is us
in here you are nothing.
