War is Real
The words wild, cruel, glory, and mournful, can all be used to describe war.
No matter the season or time or place, War goes from being like a bad dream, to an even worse reality.
When it’s over, when the fog has cleared, after all of the hidden enemies have retreated, to some there may be a rainbow.
To others maybe a tragic memory of bodies withering away and dissolving into the earth.
War
Is
REAL.

I find poems about the reality of war interesting. I plan to join the army this year so this piece flowed smoothly for me.
