Lazy boy sits in the sunlight looking out his open window onto the streets where he calls home
He sees a pretty girl everyday
Rushing to wherever she is going that day
He wishes he could take her hand
And walk her to the place she lays
Then see her the next morning waiting at the window the sunlight bright on her face
Soon those days might turn into her laying next to him
Basking in the light of day
He’d look outside and not think of home
Because home is the pretty girl that lays…
