Darkness

i feel as if my nerves have heighted,
Something telling me to be aware
My obsessive urge to look around
And check my surrounds
At night, while i lay in bed
I see shadows of darkness dance around me
Waves of dark, making the room feel ominous
Hums of joy lulling me asleep
It aura of blankness seems welcoming
It give my mind a sense of peace
And it welcomes me as i sleep.
