It is my home.
Its given to us by the gods
The place where I first took my breath.
I share my blood with you
I've seen you in the day and night.
I’ve felt the light soft wind in the summer.
You make me strive for the western gates.
You have given me motivation to take the opportunities that arrive.
You make the people who live in your palm love you.
You show more than any other person in me.
The old olive branches bloom which hold the holy bud.
We are born and sucked into your soul.
We Drive the cossack but bear against the tiger turk
You fight through the old, “your battle cry is healing”.
The love, freedom, wisdom, and light you have.
You show us who is the wrath of the world.
You show the light on the outside but on the inside you are dark.
