Graduation
One o’clock in the afternoon
A crowd begins to form.
Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters,
Sobbing, Cheering, Anxiously waiting…
The ceremony begins,
The microphone speaking the Principal's thoughts.
It has been 18 years coming;
The time has finally arrived,
That anticipation like waiting for the music to begin at recital is over.
I will now learn the choreography of life.
Congratulations class of 2018,
The next chapter begins now!
