Starry Night
So this what I see, a man in the sky.
An endless dark blanket of glittering dust
Portioned in a way that inspires awe.
For how many untold eyes have seen and
Appreciate the nighttime canvas?
How small we must be, too
Cease in an instance, but their light carries on for all Eternity,
Never to be snuffed out or altered.
Entirely made of organic material, I too will rot, but they
Will not. Forever and alive, always rousing wonderment.
