Sometimes I wish I could be alone
Because I know that if I would be
That I wouldn’t have to eat
And I wouldn’t have to worry

Sometimes I wish to be in public
Because maybe I could find someone
Who helps and interests me
And then finally have a friend to count on

Other times, though, I wish for…
Where there are no worries
Where there are no regrets or questions
And where I can be me
And not forced to be what you want me to be
