My teacher once told me to never forget
that no matter what happens the sun will always set.

Every day when you may feel sad and maybe even cry never forget
that no matter what happens that sun will always rise.

When friends seem to change and things may seem to be going south never forget
that no matter what happens the sun will stay out.

When you have a rough day and thighs seem to be blinding never forget
that no matter what happens the sun will stay shining

When you get a bad grade or your parents get mad never forget
that no matter what happens
always stay glad.

A 5th grader sent out class postcards and we were told to make a poem out of what thet had drawn. I recieved a black and whote picture. The only white on the page being the sun so this poem was my poem nack to her as a responce. We were told to make it short simple and sweet so here it is.
