A tarnished pledge.
Only angelic beings can stay true,
But who is?
Dew appears simple and sweet,
Vanishing into mid-air,
Leaving the grass dry and bare.
In a blink,
Something so innocent can become corrupt.
It is forgotten,
Like all promises.
