Everything to remember,
From sadness, happiness, and bad temper.
We selectively recall the good and fortunate times,
While disregarding the evil and horrid crimes.
But why is that the bad trifles out,
Instead of spewing out and about.
Why do we give our suffering so much authority over our lives?
When will the day come, when we stop living on the edges of our knives?
