In a world where our future depends on our grades,
In this world where our future depends on our brains,
I stand,
Amongst AP classes and a 5.0 GPA
Amongst a lack of individuality and passion,
Amongst an overproduction of doctors and lawmakers,
In this world I stand amongst the crowd of teenagers,
Living out their youth in front of textbook and pen
Passionless and pleasured by the 100%
Written in blood red ink

While I agree that many fortunate people have received such a position by their effort, I do not believe that teenagers should be subject to such pressure and stress. I hope that people can relate to my poem.
