Imagine A Place
Imagine a place
Free of your face
Where the taste is of honey and milk
Imagine the site
through the day and the night
where its bright with satins and silks
Imagine a home
remote and alone
where I won’t ever think of you
Imagine a town
only up, never down
where I don’t drown because of the things that you do
Imagine this spot
Never too cold nor too hot
and has not the sound of your voice
the only place to be
all created by me
And free of you, by choice

This poem was inspired by toxic friendships and relationships. In the end, you just have to learn to let go of the things that bring you down.
