She smiles when they wave.
  But they are mean.
She studies hard.
  I always fail.
She never complains.
  I internalize everything.
She has a close family.
  Not close enough.
She never cries.
  I always cry.
She never needs help.
  I never ask.
She is herself.
  But not even close.

I have experienced so many students feel like someone else is better than them, but in reality, they have no idea what the other person is dealing with or thinking.
