Not Even Close (an unspoken dialogue)
She smiles when they wave.
But they are mean.
She studies hard.
I always fail.
She never complains.
I internalize everything.
She has a close family.
Not close enough.
She never cries.
I always cry.
She never needs help.
I never ask.
She is herself.
But not even close.
