Feeling sick to your stomach,
Walking a little faster,
Creating distance between you

Dancing at a party,
Spinning as fast as your head,
Kissing a boy who says:
“Why don’t you come back to my place?”
Backing away slowly,
Running to your friends,

Crying in your room,
Asking him why he would do this,
Tasting his words in the air:

Watching him walk away,
