Punishment
You hold on to that hopeless hope
You pray for the miracle that will never happen
You refuse to believe it till the inevitable end
Who is getting the worst punishment-her or you?
She is dying little by little
Her breathing becomes shallow and shallow
You’re trapped in that place
Seeing her in pain
There is nothing you can do to take it away
If you can, you will switch places in heartbeat
You scream for help but no one hears
And now, she is gone
You’re haunted by her memories forever
