Cowardly lion

February 5, 2018
Bravery is a trait that I’ve never been blessed with
The golden glitter of courage never really leaked through my veins
My parted lips never whispered
the roar of the Savana
I am not brave
My tail between my legs
A cowardly lion in the making

@maddie.m0102 Great poem, I would suggest having maybe some feeling of sadness or anger about being a coward and how the others think of the lion. What could make it more interesting is that you could have the lion be the next leader of the pack.
