The smell of tobacco filled the air-
Making it smoky,
I kicked a can across the road,
It clicks as it hits the pavement,
My father smiles, as he seems happy to see me;
An unexpected punker.


The author's comments:

i wrote this piece for my english class as a bell ringer. it took me about 3 minutes to write. its not the best but then again im not a poet.
