world war one
As I hear the whistle end
I know it’s time to send
Out to our dismay
And in a way it could be
Time to say goodbye to life
Because I could die but at least
I tried.
As I run the bullets scream
Past me I hear the thud
Of gas canisters behind
Me it sounds like bodies drop
I shuffle for my mask I got it
But my buddy jeff didn’t get his
He’s running just to kill his last enemy.
