The Thing About Pain

Pain, the thing is
Nobody can explain the
Stinging
Slicing
Feeling in your heart
The cold sweat starts
The way it can change you
Scary
The thing about fear is that
You can overcome it
You get so engrossed in the feeling
You forget how strong you are
It’s pretty simple to get over it
This is all you have to do
Be the strong
Intelligent
Loving
Warm hearted
Caring person you are
And it will disappear
The pain we feel
The heartbreaking aches we get
They make us stronger
It’s hard to go through but
Makes everything better
In the end
