Paint me like I am
Why don't you paint me
Like I am
Smiling and laughing with my friends
Walking through the town
The sun beating on my back
Why don't you paint me
Like I am
Paint me giggling and playing
without a care in the world
Paint me cheerful
Singing to the high heavens
Paint me beautiful
My dress shining in the night sky
Paint me with the fierceness
That every woman has deep in her soul
Paint me when I remember
That I am beautiful
That I am strong
But most importantly
Paint me without sorrow
Paint me without pain
And Paint me with kindness
