My Day, Our Day
It is the day we release the white birds
The moment where we gather our herds
The hour we will say the same words
As you walk down towards I
Can’t express my happiness so I cry
You and your beautiful dress
Lifting the weight off my shoulders so I don’t have anymore stress
Our hearts are fragile and you know that’s it’s true but there’s no safer place for it than being with you. Oh darling, place your hands on mine,
Our love will outlast time.

This poem was inspired by my girlfriend. We often talk about our future together. I want to marry her when I'm older, when I'm ready.
