Loneliness
  It is a quiet room
With nobody in it but me
I’m waiting for somebody to come through the door
  It is darkness
Wanting light to be shed but there is none
And I will never know what it looks like
  in the outside world
  It is a jail cell
That can only be opened by someone else
Suddenly
  That door begins to open
I have the slightest bit of hope
But what was the door, was only my eyes
All I had to do was open

I was a quiet and shy child when I was young. But I now realize that you just have to be yourself and come out of your shell.
