Once upon a time you lit up the darkness that consumed me
You were everything to me, my rock
You gave me all my strength you see
You had my heart on lock
Once upon a time you stopped the madness that would take over my mind
I though you understood
Silly me, who knew id become so blind
Say you love me, I wish you would
Once upon a time I walked away
I was beyond devastated
I never thought I’d see this day
A love that became so complicated
I will learn to be fine alone
I will learn to be okay on my own

I wrote this when my entire life changed. I was going through a break up, being sent to a new school, broke my hand, and loosing friends all in the same week. I had to keep reminding myself that it would pass and i would be okay. I decided to write to get everything out and eventually I ended up okay.
