Dear Ana
Each night
I stared at my reflection
In the mirror
I stood there in silence
Scanning my body
Looking for imperfections
Tears filled my eyes
As a voice said;
"You're never going to be beautiful"
"You're never going to be perfect"
That was the moment I realized
What it was like to
Be afraid of
Your own
Mind
