It’s all the same
Nothing ever seems to change

The mental stability has gone
The unforgiving misery is felt
Not on the surface
Not in sight
Only underneath
She cries out but muffles her screams
No one asks how it feels
No one ever seems to hear it
No one ever notices

White lies don't hide the stain of blood
The agony just boils
It extends to the border and falls off
A red stain scars a pure, white cloth

Stepping up on a wooden chair
Wishing her final farewells
One final tear
For then, the strong rope flies
