The last day I saw you I barely said goodbye

Standing outside the ambulance as I watched you pass me by

I never thought this could happen, never in a million years

Now I'm left here with my thoughts and all my lonely tears

I never thought this could happen, even in my wildest dreams

You were always there for me when I would bust out my seams

Without you here I've gone numb 

A daughterles father I've become

My dad died this summer and it was really hard for me.

@bigbri I am so sorry for your loss, I lost my mother at a young age, and I know how it feels. I can feel the emotions coming out, and it is a good thing. You also made it relatable to others that lost a love one or one/both parents. Anyway, amazing poem.
