A Moment

It wasn’t you
It was moment
Greater than the lackluster feeling between us
The fluorescent lighting fading out all the past feelings
Distracting from what was right
And encouraging what was to come
I could almost feel the days to come dancing within my head
Knowing that we were frozen in time
Knowing that this moment would eventually become the past
But it’s okay
