Down by the Ocean

Locked in a world of so many thoughts and emotions
I rather be down by the ocean
Where it is free and welcoming
Where there’s no feelings of the past
Only the bright future of what lies ahead
The never ending crashing of the water
Wave by wave
Some small
Easy to take on
Fearless and confident
Others larger
Fearful of the outcome
Hesitant to dive into the unknown
They won’t stop from crashing
So don’t be fearful
Be dauntless
To get past the wave
