The sun, the moon, the sky in general is beautiful,
Just as the cold, broken ice afloat the river below.
Both are so different, yet they are lovely in their own ways.
They have their own personalities that define who they are.
One might choose the river over the sky but that doesn’t make the sky any less beautiful,
It doesn’t mean that no one loves the sky,
It just shows that someone might love one, perfectly imperfect thing over another.
Sometimes people don’t choose favorites based on appearances or what they could get out of choosing one thing over another, 
sometimes they decide on one over another for a more meaningful reason.
What’s sad is that even though they are so different in many aspects,
the jealousy they have over one person could make them change to in a way to someone else vison to make them stay.
The beauty of it all is that they would change who they are to keep that person in their lives,
Even if they are not themselves anymore.
