Broken Promises

“Don’t worry about it honey, nothing is going on,” Candice used to say. I gave her my whole heart, all my love, just to have my body paralyzed from what I just witnessed. My trust was taken advantage of, never appreciated, taken for granted. That all started the day promises meant nothing anymore.
