Sunny with a Chance of Tartan
I wake up with a look of sunflower yellow.
Bright and energetic for the day to come.
Filled with smiles and happiness,
like the bright sun rising over the mountain tops.
Sunflower yellow defines me, it gives me strength.
As my day continues on, you will start to see me in tartan plaid.
So much going on, but composed as a whole.
Filled with activities and tight with time,
like a busy intersection during rush hour.
Tartan plaid keeps me in line, and motivates me to achieve more.
Sometimes, I seem to be stuck in the tartan plaid.
It seems like some days the sunflower yellow needs to peak out more.
However, some days I get the perfect mix of the tartan plaid and the sunflower yellow.
Those days… I am golden.
