It Stops Me From Succeeding
I am thirteen and I have betrayed myself
I have lived my whole life with procrastination
Why do I keep setting myself up for failure?
What if I die without accomplishing anything?
It stops me from succeeding
I have to learn how to be responsible and take care of myself
Not just depending on my peers
Suppose I die before getting my diploma
Why am I not focused on what’s important to myself?
It stops me from succeeding
I never stop to think what’s good for me
I should have been more determined and happy
I used to be the alpha, but then everything changed
With always being on my phone instead of doing work
With not paying attention during the lesson and struggle with the work later
It stops me from succeeding
