Ode the Fidget Spinner
My problem, my obsession
My Fidget Spinner continues my depression.
It spins and it spins,
Just like Car Rims.
I like watching this thing spin in my right limb.
I love their spinning action,
It keeps me from distraction.
But it wasn’t worth it.
This ‘toy’ made my life a joke.I dropped out of school.
I lost my job.
My parents kicked me out, all because they wanted me to stop!
But I didn’t.
I never did.
After they told me the final time, I snapped.
Now I’m on the curve. No food. Same clothes.
All because of my Fidget Spinner.
Every day, I sit and I sit.
Begging for food like an ownerless dog.
Smelling like a dead bullfrog.
And when the sun falls, and the moon rises.
I can see the moonlit alleys.
Getting ready to spin the only thing that can make me happy.
