Eros1
Eros
Hidden in the wings of beauty,
Entwined within scarlet bow,
Striking love and fear into the hearts of those who dare,
Making yourself not yourself,
The gleam in his eye as bright as a star,
The unsurpassed power strong enough to,
Strike down a god,
Leaving you frail and petrified.

I wrote this after a break up of a relationship and I used the anger to fashion the poem Eros. It capture what I felt about the idea of love as love is always two-sided, it can be great but it can also be a hurtful thing.
