Fraud
You pour words into my broken mind
each wave crashing harder than the next
And I don't cry because these words give me hope
I cry for I know that they hold no truth
And within each and every one, I feel more pain
Because if these words were the backbone to the way you really felt,
You wouldn’t be able to stand so perfectly
Your shoulders would slouch as do mine
and that faultless brawn wouldn’t be so pristine
And if you accepted the truth, you would be lying to yourself
Because that mind of yours already has itself so convinced
