The crunching caterpillar
munches on delicate leaves
looking for the perfect place
to sprout his cocoon.
The formation of a cocoon
appears by creation.
Diverse strands resemble strength and life.
The cocoon cracks like an egg,
and the caterpillar abandons it.
The caterpillar also abandons himself,
blooming into a blissful butterfly.
You bloom as well,
leaving your past behind to
obtain your true, best self.
You blow away like leaves in the fall.
Gazing at gusts, their wings diminish.
They flutter fast,
giving you a glance.
I watch them soar through the sky so graceful,
like ballerinas.
