Another window shattered
As the shards fall away
Amongst the pitter patters
A car drives the wrong way
Another ball of metal lays still
As the crimson dent in the snow lays
Amongst the chaos a bird trills
A pattern in vain
Vile crawls its way out
Rivers stopped by the dam
Nerves frozen in the ice
Eyes twitching to a lullaby
But now it makes sense
It all makes sense
Fragments make the brokenness complete
With all pain a mere nuisance
The light within reach fades
And the flame above rises
