The Abandonment of A Child
Just a child..
Left with unanswered questions
With harmful memories
And no family.
All she wanted was love..
She wanted comfort,
Serenity
And maybe someone to tell her..
That they’re proud,
They’re there for her,
They would do anything
For her.
But instead,
She got hurtful words,
Drunken nights,
Lots of fights,
And a painful life.
Left with nothing
But those cutting memories,
Those wounding words,
& pure abandonment.
